In terms of overall story-arch and how moving it is, Jack is number one by far. She's simply the best LI.

With LotSB, Liara is a close second though. I feel sorry that all the other LI's never got as good romances.

Edit: And as Kaiser Shepard said, Thane is also a very moving romance.

Jack has the best single game romance, Tali over the course of two games and Thane's was great.

Basically, they're all equal to me.
My favorites are Kaidan, Thane and Jack.

But of course, the Blue Mary Sue has the most complex one.

In case of good character writing - Tali, second best is Liara mostly due to attencion she received in LotSB DLC - this realy gave her some advantage above others.

I didnt like Me1 romance dialogs - thaey ware all borring interogation talks about the past and the family and all the borring stuff and sudenly when they stoped talking they jumped forth with love just like that.
Tali Romance on contrary is totaly explainable as it starts after dealing with her deeply emotional Loyality mission.

Jack. I think most of them are good, though. I've never played FemShep, so I don't know how well those romances were.

I feel so sorry for her. Forget the genophage, Mordin needs to cure Miranda's infertility!

Dont worry Shepard is so manly that hes seed could make Man pregnant ^^

I think Miranda has the most character potential and is the most interesting pair for Shepard. However her romance isn't anything to write home about. I feel Ashley and Liara have the most rewarding/best romances. Jack's is great too. As for the males, I enjoyed Jacob's up until the end, and Kaidan's was sorta like Miranda -- I liked the character/potential more than the romance. (JMO) of course

Yes, but some of us, myself included, may have trolled alittle too hard on both of them, and then they both confronted me, and I chose Ashley. So I basically gave Liara the bird, bad choice, 'cause I ended up killing Ashley in ME1.

Possibly, I just hope Bioware doesn't make it hopelessly complex, then your liable to misunderstand what they are getting at, but still an interesting thought though.
