I don't think the PC version natively supports controllers. I think that with 3rd party software (xpadder), you can get a controller to work with it, but apparently performance isn't very good (too much lag, according to others).Do you think playing a game like ME2 on PC but with a console controller would work well?
It is legal and it won't void warranty. However it is not supported by Bioware, so "problems arising from playthroughs you have modded will have to be addressed by your fellow modders."Anyway, what's the status of that gibbed...legal? Voids warranties?

Yes, you are wrong. The explanation is as I stated above. But you're welcome to try experiment. So, it's just a hypothesis...if you want to charm Miranda, you just pick up all the available P points talking to your squad. If people want to try that, then let me know the results...and say how much of your P and R meters were full and their ratio. Just a hunch. Could be wrong.
You seem to have a fair few ideas and theories about the game. I would really recommend that you post in other parts of the forum, because you won't get the feedback & discussion that you're hoping for here.
The ME2 boards still have a decent amount of life, if you want to post about ME2 specific things. However you could also post in the ME3 boards (at the top of the forum) if you have ideas about systems for future games - the ME3 forums are very lively. Be aware of spoilers though.
If you cannot post because you haven't yet registered your game - then register it. On the left hand side, mouse over the 'Profile' prompt on the control panel, and click 'Register Games'. Then click on 'Mass Effect 2 - PS3', and follow the instructions.
