Description: Is there any way to change the camera control from the middle mouse button to the right button?
I've been searching and searching for an answer to this and am either led to a discussion that can't be accessed or to a virus-infected "fix".

I remember looking into this a long time ago. i also remember looking suspiciously at the 'fix' I believe you're referring to.
.. was just looking at Options->Keymapping, and ya it doesn't look very amenable to mapping the mouse (i'm not going to tinker around w/ mine, 'cause its working well)
a basic solution is to leave the mouse as-is, then go nutz remapping the keyboard around your left hand: with those fingers on the arrow keys there's a nice panel of six keys right above (the text editing functions). For example, PageUp/PageDown are kept the same for camera up/down; Home -> Zoom out full; End -> Pause; Insert -> Target nearest enemy; Delete -> MouseLook!
Backspace & Backslash, useful for cycling targets. oh, i removed Inspection altogether
Most if not all letters on the keyboard, just defaults
