im playing ME2, i have just recruited thane, the last squad member, aside from legion. i have all other squad members loyalty. so now the only mission left is the derelict reaper. once i finish it, i will get thanes loyalty mission, and after that, legions. the problem is that i have one assignment left as well, the citadel found forged id quest. now, i heard that after the derelict reaper mission, it gives you a certain number of mission slots until the normandy kidnapped mission takes place, the same number of loyalty missions you must still complete. you cannot complete the found forged id quest until AFTER you have gained the loyalty of thane, which would come after the reaper mission. is there anyway i can complete all three missions, thanes loyalty, legions loyaly, and the id quest before the normand kidnap mission takes place?

If you have 1 disloyal squad member after doing the reaper (and you will AT LEAST one, because you pick up Legion while there) then you have 1 more mission you can do before the suicide run.

If you have MORE THEN 1 disloyal squad member, you have 2 more missions. Also note, the only important ones to do are the loyalty missions. The other assignments can be finished after the suicide mission if you want.  To do everything, just go get it done before you go to the reaper.  There's no reason you have to rush there.

You can do the Thanes loyalty and Citadel quest before going to the reaper and getting the IFF, there is no reason not to and it would save you from having to rush through anything. Just do those things, get the IFF, do Legions loyalty mission, then head on to your suicide mission, no problems!

thanks guys. i think i found a way to activate thanes loyalty mission before going to the reaper. but if the only thing left to do after is legions loyalty, then how do i activate it? doesnt a loyalty mission have to be activated by doing another mission first?

You will always have time to do legions loyalty mission before the crew gets kidnapped, as long as you talk to him at every opertunity.

But seriously, you're ruining your fun by not just plying and seeing what happens.

After you get Legion, you can start two conversations one after the other with him and get the mission activated.

You can actually do two missions following the derelict Reaper, which is how you can witness a unique take on Tali's loyalty mission by bringing Legion with you. Just be certain if you do this in future files, that Legion's loyalty mission is done last. It usually seems to be the trigger otherwise you have two missions prior to crew abduction.

Forged ID quest isn't with Thane, it is with Garrus that you find the IDs. You can complete the quest without the IDs with Specter status or high enough persuade.


So go finish the quest, go do IFF, talk to Legion, do Thane, talk to Legion and be done.
