My toolset speed slows down considerably whenever I try to place a placable in an area. I've tried lowering the resolution as suggested in the FAQ buy it was already at 800x600. My specs are: Win 7 64-bit, 8 GB RAM, Intel Core i7 CPU. I have NWN2 and MotB installed

Any ideas what the problem might be?
