Suffice it to say that I am strongly in the camp with the people who believe that the best parts of Origins combined with the best parts of DAII would create a game better than both of them. I am also a fan of customization, both of character and story, and increasingly aware that the DA universe is in dire need of more "activitites." More ways to interact with the world around you.
The term "activities" brought some ideas to my mind:
1. The implementation of sidequests similar to the stronghold quests in Baldur's Gate 2 would be fantastic. Maybe have one questline for each of the three classes which would then include aspects like the acquisition of a class-specific home base, searching for rare items, using unique crafting options and having to make choices that will affect more than just your character.
2. Castle management quests like in DAO-Awakening are always nice IMO. Although I prefer to have the outcome before the actual endgame, like the way it was in Neverwinter Nights 2.
3. I think that wealth and influence acquired by the player character should not feel abstract to the player. In DA2 Hawke was supposedly a wealthy resident of Hightown by the start of act 2 and the influential Champion of Kirkwall by the start of act 3. Yet it never really felt like that to me. Allow players to spend their character's wealth on special projects or use their influence to shape the game world.
4. I would prefer it if we could only get high-tier equipment from "activities" (e.g. questing) and not by buying it from a random shop.
