honestly I'd settle for any system that tricked out the squadmates in something that looked ilke proper armor.  But this adds a level of customization I'd love to see.

I prefer just have some differents appearance that you can change, like ME2, but more than just two, and at least one more like an armor, and you can change small things like the color.

This would be great if we have it in ME3.

And if can't have that type of customization, and if upgrades are still done like ME2, I'd be more than happy with the armors visually showing the new upgrades.

So for example, when we would get an upgrade like the Trauma Module that replaces the original module installed on the back; then the new Trauma Module would then show up on everyone's individualized armor.

There you go. I knew I wasn't the only who was fascinated by those.

I think I spend too much time looking at ME universe Tech! :innocent:

I like your ideas OP. Though I don't see why we could at least have some skinning options for squad armor on all squadmates. Having different armor styles would be great, but I could see why that would generate a fair amount of work. I hope most of the squad outfits are at least somewhat combat-ready in appearance. No more space bikinis or high heels please.

Heavy Armor for some squads, for others light and medium armor, changeable like ME1.

I agree with most of the OP, but I'd like to have 2 armor sets for non-permanent squadmates instead of just one... I mean, there is no customization if you don't have parts to switch between.

I like the idea of having 3 armors for permanent squad members but I would rather have a mix of customization from Mass Effect 1 (the variety of choices and the ability to make your squad members wear all the armor they can) and Mass Effect 2 armor pieces combinations

I support every type of customization so of course, count me in.:wizard:

I am only affraid whether the developers would not be affraid to make all three outfits really different with such system. I mean, with something like this, we could theoretically make some pretty wild combinations (heavily armored legs, unarmored torso, and lightly armored helmet for example) ...

- please give all credit to Deebe

Please don't get me wrong, I would love to have some fun with some creative costumes:lol:, but will Bioware allow us to have them? Wouldn't they try to make them all and all their parts look compatible and interchangeable, i.e. similar, as was Shepard's case?

My main point is, that first and foremost, I would love to have really different types of suits (I am not big fan of lightly armored / unarmored outfits and would love to switch them for something dramatically different ) even if I can't mix individual parts among them. Of course, having really different types of outfits and being able to mix their individual parts would be really fantastic.^_^ I am only affraid that it would be too good to be real.:pinched:

Just one question:
How many approvals does the topic require to send this idea to developers?

What a good idea. It would also be nice to have underlay fabrics:

Biotec injury clotting fabric (+30% heal speed)

Schmidt-Krauss biotic reflecting underweave (-25% biotic damage received)

Molari-Tan Biotic Endurance fabric (+40% power endurance)

 - and this way players could choose to increase the duration of their cloak (infiltrators) heal faster in battles (adepts) or resist biotic abilities, further increasing defences (soldiers).

Thoughts/ suggestions anyone?

Nice, yes I really hope you can give your squad some armor changes. And that they just have some casual clothes aboard the Normandy.

So basically the OP is asking for a limited version of what I've been asking for since the beginning...

An N7 style modular armour system for the team mates.

Although I don't reckon it should be limited - if Shep can wear it then everone should be able to.

Still don't see how Bioware couldn't make this work, afterall most of the team mates are humanoid and can just use the same parts as Shepard.

And for those that aren't and can't, it's not as if new armour pieces would take that long for the folks at Bioware to create and they certainly wouldn't need new animations or anything like that.

Yes, I approve!

Moar armor customization, please. If ME3 has the same system as ME2, I'll be very disappointed.

The idea isn't bad, but it's not something that ME3 needs.
