Which is kind of why I'm hoping they just don't show her face.  Because no matter what they make, lots of people will hate it.

Me too. It's a catch 22 situation as others have said in this thread. But leaving everyone in the dark as to what the Quarians look like appears to be the 'safer' of the options, given how much outcry I'm sure there would be if Tali was anything less than stereotypically good looking/aesthetically pleasing.

It's threads like this that convince me they aren't going to show her face at all.

Bioware can't screw her face up, because they decide how it's gonna look.

Show her face. Fanboy haters, deal with it.

The extremely vocal minority who don't want Tali's face shown because they like being teased capitalize on fears that Tali will be hideous, to sway more people to their position. Truth is, Bioware are very capable of making Tali look reasonably attractive and suitably exotic/alien (while staying true to the lore established in the second novel), such that the vast majority of her fanbase will be pleased.

Bioware can't screw up her face, she's their character. Who cares if some horny 14 year old boy doesn't like it, deal with it.

Showing Talis face would be a mistake. I think a good compromise would be showing another Quarian unmasked.

It would still leave the mystery of what Tali looks like but allows them to reveal exactly what a Quarian looks like.

Haha I agree. I'm not sure what the demographics of BSN is, but even if BSN is majorly made up of non-adults then the opinions voiced here shouldn't swerve the minds of Bioware even a centimeter. Tali is their character and they can perform whatever makeover they want with her. Knowing them, they make interesting and quite attractive (in their own way) LI characters.

If they reveal Tali's face. I expect to not be surprised or to be specific, I'll be gratified.

So if they had unmasked V in V for Vendetta it wouldn't have been disappointing or wrong?

It would have ruined the movie for a lot of people because part of the character was the mystery of what was behind the mask which is similar to what Tali is.

V himself says "Beneath this mask there is more than flesh", his appeareance never defined who V was it was his personality, character and ideals that made V what he was and it's the same for Tali's character and personality.

Look, everyone wants a good ending to their character's romance story; I don't care what they do, as long as its GOOD. Show her face, or don't.. Just give us a good conclusion.
