Thinking about it, I want to be a Raloi next Mass Effect (after number 3). I'd be the leader, voiced by Brian Blessed, and constantly use the war cry "Ride my Hawkmen!

not that i have anything against aliens, i love the buggers. i just dont wanna be one, being one would take the magic out of it, ya know? they wouldnt feel so alien anymore.

This One longs to play as a Hanar Warrior-Knight, one who belongs to the Enkindled Order of Warrior Knights. 

Our Order is charged with protecting the community from forces of darkness, passing on the teachings of the Enkindlers, and tending their sacred spaces and relics. The Order has bake sales on Eday, dance nights on Tday, services at dawn and dusk everyday, and we teach AWESOME ASSKICKING year round. 

Being Hanar -this One does worry about practical things like: being able to dive for cover in combat, looking other beings in the eyes, wearing armour, having no pockets for keys, cell phones, I.D., credit cards, prophylactics, snacks, grenades, or spare ammo clips.  Surely I will have no problem levitating while wearing my ten various weapons.

Obviously - my people have found solutions to these minor challenges. ( I just cannot tell you at this time how we get by... - ahem... because....er.....it's a secret..   Yes, it is a secret from all other races.     ( Apparently.  ) 
Go ahead and speculate about our rumored dimensional pocket technology... this one has confirmed nothing.

This One knows that Hanar have exquisite senses ( including ultrasound ), great strength, grace, dignity, radiant spirits, loving hearts, wonderful singing voices, and are naturally beings of great physical beauty.  

Our attractiveness is actually a minor problem, as other races seem to fantasize about our lovely corporal forms and our prowess to an unseemly degree. This is a burden we bear with dignity and grace as we float through the day.

No, I think I'd rather stick to the human race. If I had to pick an alien race, I'd probably go for the Turians. Although the Hanar are somewhat interesting as well -- for some reason I feel they have tons of potential in lots of things.
