So accepting us onto the council, giving us the same voice they themselves have isn't putting us on an equal footing with them, what exactly did you want them to do, give us the cool seat aswell.

Hahaha naiveness at it's finest. So equal footing also means that other aliens can openly campaign as "anti-Human" and the alein council does nothing to stop them? Don't you think that the Turians would silence anyone being openly "anti-Turian".

Please, you are in denial. The Council cares not for Humanity but to themselves. They'll gladly let Earth burn if it means they won't lose a few ships.

They're fine with us colonising the Terminus but if we need help then it's back to square one.

Allowing freedom of speech against someone in no way shows that your not putting them on equal footing, also considering amongst our own people we have people openly campaigning as anti alien then it actually proves the opposite.

Where's your proof that they will let earth burn?

You can suspect they will, but to state it as a fact to prove they're not putting us on equal footing is a arguing an unknown.

I think Grunt is the only being in the galaxy that isn't incompetent.

He kills things and tackles scions, that's his job,and he does it well.

We were warned though were we not, we choose to ignore the warnings and then go crying for help when these warnings turn out to be correct.

The three council races are second only to the reapers as the greatest threats to humanity. When the Reapers are dealt with my Shep will create a human-led coalition of Geth,Quarian,Batarian,Krogan,Rachni and Vorcha to deal with them once and for all.

Oh yes Shepard, we'll help you, but first you have to rally us and convince us it's worth it, not like it's our duty to help each other since we're in a council and all without you dragging you're ass half-way across the galaxy to ASK!

Oh yeah, they'll totally help you, just like they did in ME2  Posted Image  and there wasn't a war back then. Imagine what the Turian Councilor will say to you now.

My guess....

Terra Firma has extreme elements but they're not anti-alien.

Yeah, the council really helped out after human colonies in the traverse were attacked by Batarians and later Geth after they were encouraged by them to settle there.

Then your shep will apparently consume the council with fireballs from his eyes and bolts of lightning from his arse.

The last two I can't argue with, but seriously? Cerberus? For human rights? Torturing Paul Greyson and injecting children with with illegal drugs, to me at least, doesn't sound like the actions of a group that stands up for human rights. Torture is a major human rights violation, no matter what your reason for doing it is.

Cerberus is an organisation that is all about the advancement of human interests and domination at any cost. Not about maintaining peoples human rights.

I'm not talking about the council not helping our colonies. I can't remember who said it but the council wants us to colonise the terminus systems. Despite this they refuse to believe Saren who's obviously anti human would attack Eden Prime.

You're talking out of your ass. They ENCOURAGED us and then turned they're backs when we needed help. They're not worth the benevolence paragons held them in. They're crooked politicians with little regard for anyone but themselves.

Paragons are fools who see the good in everyone when in reality there isn't any. Not once have they showed care and patience for Shepard or Humanity. They even regret making Humanity a Council race. It wasn't wirth saving them  in ME1, it's not worth it now.

Batarians have grievences with the council just like we do. We can negotiate colonization rights in exchange for their support against the citadel races and them putting an end to supporting attacks on our colonies.

Not as an organisation no, but the fact they attract racists and xenophobes and do noting when these people make anti alien comments, shows they are as guilty as anyone who spouts anti human rhethoric, which was kinda the point.

Shamelessly stolen? You mean the ship TIM encouraged the Alliance to build. EDI can't be controlled by you either and for all we know TIM has failsafes. Lazarus did what it was created to do. You know defy all odds and raise the dead.

Encouraged =/= designing the damn thing.

Yeah. So much good comes from Cerberus. Every single human being can live a richer life when Cerberus agents are sacrificing their lives for nothing.

Turns out that's the way to do it. Thanks to cerberus we have....

1. Normandy SR1 & SR2

2. EDI

3. SHEPARD!!!

4. Saved the human race

5. Have a chance to fight the Reapers

Like it or not, we wouldn't have made it this far without them. You may not like it, but they're doing it right. Somebody has to do the dirty work, and Cerberus gladly pays the price.

To be fair you just described all politicians. That includes the human ones, Udina is as much of a self centered, greedy political arse hole as the rest of them.

Edit: typo.

Without evidence why should they believe that one of their most respected spectres would attack Eden prime and what exactly happened the moment you had this evidence, did they ignore it or accept it.

As for the terminus systems they also encouraged other races to colonise it, so wheres the non equal footing we're been put on.

Oh, yeah, let's just not try to stop the Reapers. Let's just watch and let them get away to attack other worlds. Especially after they attacked Pavalen.<_<

Human dominance ensures our rights against hostile alien forces.
