I would love to play this game but I don't really feel like speding 1000 to get a great service computer that has all the specs. If their is already a Topic on this, sorry, I couldn't see it. Also, I didn't know where else to post this. SO, I know this was considered but I would love to see this for the PS3 (My console) and Xbox 360. Maybe with a better graphical look and maybe no Pay to Play, but I just want this on the consoles!

P.S. Please do not commet if you are a PC Fanboy.Posted Image

No chance.

With the amount of skills and abilities your characters will have theres no way there will even be controller support for the pc version let alone a console versions of it ever appearing.

There would be so much info, Xbox live just wouldn't handle it.

I'm sure they could find a way to make it work, they are Bioware after all.

And as for skills, you may have 7-10 skills available to use late game, but who says you use all of them in each fight? Just like Dragon Age. Have 6 mapped to the controller buttons. And from what I've seen of TOR, it's not a game that requires intense Pausing to be tactical. So they could have a wheel system like ME and DA without pausing the game when it's brought up.

@Teragnan: Xbox live is just a normal server like any other. I doubt the servers would have trouble, but if it DID require a really large amount of info to send back and forth, performance would be based on the player's internet.

@Torhagen: That was DCUO, this is TOR... big difference.

@Calob: I agree that they should bring it to consoles. I don't care if the interface is bad (nothing is worse than a RTS on console, so a 3rd person rpg shouldn't be too bad), and it could only get so bad. It would be stupid if xbox people had to pay for it on top of xbox live, but then it wouldn't be profitable or for EA and Bioware to have it free for PS3... hmm...

You pay for access to Xbox Live.  Playstation Network is free.  However, you would still pay for the game subscription regardless.  For those playing the DC game online on PSN, they are paying for the game sub. $14.99 a month I believe.

If you actually look at the skill sets and the "skill trees" which you can find if you hunt long enough, you're probably looking at 20-30 skills at the end of a game plus "potions" and such - most skills (probably more than half) I would guess come from your advanced class so you would use them frequently. I've heard the overall gameplay style is similar to World of Warcraft in that you need access to many skills to be able to play effectively.

As for graphics, I doubt you would be able to improve upon them for PS3 or XBox 360 as compared to the PC version. Many times (not always), PC graphics are better than console graphics.

And the FTP, why would you not have to pay if PC players have to?

I've seen the failure what have been the MMOs what tried to be multiplatform, and 2nd a PC able to run it is not that expensive, mine is 3 years old and could run it great in the last beta weekend.

For numerous reasons, the latest console generation is unsuitable to handle an MMORPG properly.

To be honest you really need the keyboard and mouse for this kind of MMO. It would be nightmare to play with game pad.

It not being on console is an excellent incentive for buying it.

With the capabilities of Xbox one and the new kinect would it be possible to have an RPG KOTOR instead of an MMO?

KotOR was available for the original Xbox.  That's it.  KotOR is now a DEAD franchise, and SWtOR is off topic here in the KotOR forums!

EA has no interest in the KoTOR games.
