 Just wondering if there was one.  I'd assume so.

As I recall, there's an AW spell that gives ~75% resistances across the board, and an item that gives 20% to all.  I'm sure you can see where I'm going with this.  Throw on Heroic Defence, and be immune to all elements?  Happily wade your Arcane Warrior into the middle of the room while on the outside two mages cast Inferno and Storm of the Century?  

Definitely fun to try, if it works.  

So, am I missing something?  Have I got my values for either of the things mentioned above wrong (Hoping so )

75% is the cap, AFAIK. Equipped Wade's armor set, which gives 70% fire resist. Cast Heroic Defense, and while everything else shot up by 17, fire was set to 75.



That's the reason why Shimmering Shield gives you 75%... thats the highest it can go.
