Yes. I've never seen such a sad attempt at pandering to fanservice, and this is coming from someone that pretty much adores anything BioWare touches.

Fenris - Blatant "omg-hawt-anime-boiiii".
Anders - Generic prettyboy with a dark side.
Isabella - Talks about sex non-stop and wears the skimpiest outfit possible.
Merrill - Typical "omg-kawaiiiiiii-so-random/naïve/innocent-lol" girl.

The only ones that weren't bipedal stereotypes were Aveline and Varrick.

I really hope BioWare won't conform Mass Effect 3 on the vocal minority found on these forums. Otherwise we'll end up with everyone being Shepardsexual, foursomes and other assorted stuff that has no place in a serious science-fiction epic.

Lol serious? What version of ME 1 or 2 have you been playing? Its light hearted, fun entertainment. And i hardly think its a minority. Its usually the hardcore "serious" types who post on these forums anyway. Its not representative of the core audience.

I wouldn't mind if the option was there, but my Shepards are one woman/man kind of persons so I wouldn't do it even if it was available. Also, it would have to be in-character for those involved and not just for the sake of "the act" itself, imo.

I have no problem with it when it's an additional possible option, but my Sheps are monogamic and not interested in sharing. So I wouldn't even use the opportunity when it's available.

The minorities ARE vocal - just look at the support/drama surrounding FemShep getting her own trailer. From what I recall, only 18% played FemShep in Mass Effect 2, which is a minority. And I'm not saying that the minorities are always in the wrong, because they're obviously not, but I hope BioWare knows where to draw the line.

And I surely hope we've been playing the same Mass Effect, which is a science-fiction epic in every sense of the word. Of course there should be place for the more light-hearted stuff, but it should just not be an obvious and overzealous attempt to appeal to the fans; if that happens, we'll have another Dragon Age 2 at our hands.
