I was hoping that gay option is only for Dragon Age, but now its confirmed for ME...  Its a nonsense that thru the previous chapters all male characters was straight and only in ME3 they become a gay. It is like James Bond or John McClane suddenly turns into... No way :)

Is it that difficult for Bioware to release some gay-patch, or settings option "gay content-off", or while installing process "are you want to install gay content Y/N"?
Don't you realise that the gayness of the ME3 is a stigma to whole series and Bioware itself.

All I need is to talk to any male character without double thinking (like it was before). Otherwise I won't play such GAyME.

Why did you have to create a post saying you've reported it instead of just doing it? That just bumps it to the feed.

Yeah I'm done. My math teacher taught me never to divide by zero.

Phew, I'm glad I finally found the answer to whether or not sv1tanak was going to buy the game if previously straight LIs became gay.

I thought that the gay are minority, and Savior of the galaxy can't be among them...
Keep going people, I'm out.

Wow...I hate you.
That's coming from someone who thinks hate is a very harsh word.

Ok ya. I don't have any problem with gay romance options in the game.
The only MASSIVE problem I have is when you can't be friendly and caring without being somewhat gay (in other words being flirtatious) or having to reject them and gain disapproval. I don't like upsetting my team.

What we need is a few more distinct dialogue options. Considering that gender isn't relative to the romance options we'd naturally need more options to get our intentions across instead of misleading them half the time.

eg. How it should be when someone is telling Sheperd that they care about him/her.
Response
1. Romance
2. Caring with no romantic mention
3. Neutral
4. Burn in hell... (shoots them) <---joking but you get the point.

Problem is when 1. and 2. are one in the same

Speaking from someone who played femShep (who initiates all her romances, much as Bioware has confirmed will be the case for all romances in ME3), the romance options are stuff like "I want you(r body)" and "Let's have sex." I'm not sure you can really miss them. If they take the Dragon Age attitude with little icons (and honestly, why wouldn't they?) then there will be a massive pink heart next to the option.

I agree that they should also have "bromance" options as well, but I think they said that there will be a better interaction breadth/depth for each character.

Honestly, I think they learnt from the Anders vitriol. They've also stated that only some of the characters are bi/gay, so we don't need to worry about the DA2 issue where every NPC was bisexual (or, you know, Hawke-sexual).

So, to summarize, only some characters will be bi/gay, no relationships will be force-fed to you and you can pursue a bromance happily avoiding pink hearts without having to be dickish/neutral.
