Too much sense in one post. Please fix it and remove some of the reasonable arguments.LadyCass wrote...
Speaking from someone who played femShep (who initiates all her romances, much as Bioware has confirmed will be the case for all romances in ME3), the romance options are stuff like "I want you(r body)" and "Let's have sex." I'm not sure you can really miss them. If they take the Dragon Age attitude with little icons (and honestly, why wouldn't they?) then there will be a massive pink heart next to the option.
I agree that they should also have "bromance" options as well, but I think they said that there will be a better interaction breadth/depth for each character.
Honestly, I think they learnt from the Anders vitriol. They've also stated that only some of the characters are bi/gay, so we don't need to worry about the DA2 issue where every NPC was bisexual (or, you know, Hawke-sexual).
So, to summarize, only some characters will be bi/gay, no relationships will be force-fed to you and you can pursue a bromance happily avoiding pink hearts without having to be dickish/neutral.

I was hoping that gay option is only for Dragon Age, but now its confirmed for ME... Its a nonsense that thru previous chapters all male characters was straight and only in ME3 become gay. Is it that difficult for Bioware to release some gay-patch?
I won't play such game.

That made zero sense. What a gay male can't be an alpha male? That's news to me.sv1tanak wrote...
I thought that the gay are minority, and Savior of the galaxy can't be among them...
Keep going people, I'm out.
See ya.

Unless the make is so subtle that only a gay mind would understand it. Unlike DA2 where they made it so obvious it made the players feel unclean...
I mean... Look at what they did with DA2 Jesus... they made ANDERS gay... What the hell?!
I still have hope in bioware that they wont make the same mistake! But this is something that might prevent me from buying future bioware games, after Mass Effect.3.

I have to agree, I hope this is the last we see of homosexual romance in bioware games.

You won't buy future games.. Are you afraid of becoming gay after being hit on by a virtual character?

Nope, i find this sort of thing unpleasant. It sickens me, can't do much about it.
Would it help if I offered to make out with you? Sort of "ease" you into things as it were.

If there are more s/s options than expected, they will probably be executed in a way that aims for subtlety. Shep initiated romance FTW.
Doubtful, Shep isn't the most subtle when it comes to picking up people.

What I mean by subtlety is not on Shep's part but on the NPC's part. Unless Shepard says something romantic, the NPC won't either.

You could just ignore it regardless of whether it was subtle or not... It's not hard, just requires brain power.
