I have three so I will keep them short.

Mirajane Hawke a white hair mage, who sees the best in people often at her own expense, deeply devoted to her family, despite Carver's bitterness towards and his actions while she was in the Deep Roads. She isn't committed to the mage cause like Anders, she tries to stay out of it for the sake of her family but she does what she can to show people that mages aren't all bad. Especially Fenris who treats her like dirt no matter how nice she was to him. She was the type to carry others burden for them, until she became a little jaded after she was betrayed in the Fade by those she had protected. She ended up in a relationship with Anders who guilt tripped her into helping him with his shenanigans and the killed him, not for revenge but out of mercy, to finally end his struggle.

Karem Hawke, the sarcastic DW rogue who solves all his problems with brash behavior and humor. Annoys the hell out of Aveline with his childish behavior, but since he knows she's not going to do anything about it, he continues. Really protective of his sister, she went everywhere with him, including the Deep Roads where he lost her. He shoulders everyone's burdens and never revels his, always hiding behind a witty remark, even when his mother died, he carried it on his own. He's not above tooting his own horn and taking risk, but more often than not, he does the right thing. He romanced Merrill and got her through the whole mirror ordeal.

Teresa Hawke, based on the character from Claymore, Teresa of the Faint Smile. She is a...hard woman, very direct and shows little in the way of emotion. She is a 2H warrior who believes other should shoulder their own burdens, just as she does. Though she does have a soft spot for her sister, she'll move a mountain to defend her. Even going as far as to learn the Templar ways so as to teach her sister how to combat them if she every needed to. She sided with Meredith at the end but refused to let Meredith lay a finger on her sister.
