I don't know what to make of it, but everytime you go up to Sundermount you are attacked by a few Shadow Assassins whose models are completely black while they're alive and they switch to Dalish Elves when they die. Since I never heard of the Dalish clans attacking each other or seeing much of the others other when they all get together for the big meeting. Do you think they could have been members of Merrill's clan could have been trying to kill you all along? I say that since they never seemed to like her and were all too happy to commit suicide by Hawke as soon as the words "Your Keeper turned into a demon" left her mouth.
