Hey guys, the xbox version of Dragon Age is already out. Should I just download it now or do you think I should wait for the PC version?

In before the flaming starts.

Why would you even come to the producer of the game's website and ask a stupid question like that?

I have a very good PC, but I don't want to drag my desk to connect it to the tv in the living room. I also don't like the keyboard and mouse because they are too uncomfortable to use.

If you're downloading a 360 title then it is, no doubt, pirated. This is most definately not the website you should come to to discuss such things.

Just buy it, don't be an ass and download a game that has taken them years to make, and a ****load of money.

We're reacting to the fact that you said download. You can't downlaod a game for your 360 from gamestop.

Hmm I guess if this is the case you should just go with the Xbox version.

Not for a console. The only downloadable version is for the PC. And the 360 version is not out yet anyways.

What do you mean it's not out? I read on the forums that someone has already downloaded it for their Xbox? Is that from D2D or Gamespot? I don't know where he got it.

I think you can, but not from Gamestop. I know it's available from Direct2Drive, Steam, and Impulse for download though.  Since Xbox can supposedly stream 1080p movies, I'm sure you can also download gaems.

No, just no.

The only legally downloadedable games available for 360 are what's available through the Live Marketplace's Games on Demand service, and DA:O would not be up on that for quite some time. The only legal way to get the Xbox version is via hardcopy and it doesn't hit officially till the 3rd.

You cannot download 360 games except arcade games through live.

The people who are playing the game on the 360 are reviewers and people who got the game early because local stores broke the street date.

You can not download games. They have implimented a new system to purchase & D/L full games through Xbox Live, but the selection is limited & it's not new games. That is beyond "live arcade" anyway
The closest you can get is saving the game to your harddrive so it doesn't have to constantly read the disk, but Steam / D2D etc are not compatable with 360 & DA:O is most definately not available to download to the 360 through live right now.

Lets put it this way. You CANNOT download full standard  release ($60) 360 games legally.

But this an Xbox360 game, you can't pirate console games illegaly. You can only pirate PC games right?
