So was Corypheus the great threat that the wardens talked about in Act II?

In Act 2 when the qunari attack, if you kill Corypheus, do the Wardens still appear and tell Hawke that they can't interfere because of some mysterious great threat?

Was he who they were talking about?

I don't think so. You would think that the warden sibling would mention it to you if it was. That would be a bit relevant.

You can do the quest already in act 1.

Pizzaface does become a threat once Hawke breaks the seals and awakens him.

I did it in Act II and didn't bring my sister for it. She was a member of the wardens. Though I just finished the Qunari attack and they did appear and said the same so I think it's talking about something else there dealing with

What on earth could they be referring to then?  I would think that the only greater threat for the wardens than one of the First Darkspawn would be an archdemon!

Since you can do Legacy in Act 1 the wardens are obviously referring to something else. Though there is a note you find that indicates one reason that Kirkwall is so screwed up may be because it is the closest city to Corypheus. It is like his evil presence has somehow cursed the city due to it's proximity to him.

Maybe being that if Bethany is a warden you see her then and then again in the Nathaniel quest back in the deep roads where your expedition went, it may have something to do with the old thaig...can't imagine it would have anything to do with the possible upcoming war with Orlais...
