For heavy weapons, the Arc Projector is a nice option. But any one you like the most, works too.

And then I like to bring the Cain for a select few missions like the end of the Reaper IFF.


For shotguns, it depends on what style you like better. I've had fun with each of them.

after finishing my first gameplay of ME2 with my SG Adept I really like the GPS. Too bad, I have got the DLC before IFF mission. From that moment, the game was much more easier than with other SG. Claymore included. Maybe because I liked mid range combat as the Adept. Sometimes I spammed singularity on Harbringer and slammed ot with the SG. Lack of ammo was the only problem to me. Really prefer the system of ME1 in this. The difficulty was on Insanity by the way.

I loved the GPS pre-collector ship. It was really useful on my Vanguard when was running around and charging people.
I went with the Claymore shortly after as it suited my style easier (charge in and cause some havoc, be the "tank" so to speak) but if I were to go back and do it again. I'd probably pick up the Assault Rifle and see how the GPS fares late game but I'd miss mah claymore XD
