I was going for the Supplier trophy and I had her friendship maxed out midway through act 2. I romanced her in act 1, and let her keep the relic. I did this on my 2nd playthrough, and got the ambrosia, and I just did the exact same thing in my current 3rd playthrough. But for some reason even before ending act 2, there was a quest to meet her at the hanged man. So I went there, she wasn't there. With all my quests done in act 2 other than the final quest before starting act 3, I proceeded to finish act 2 thinking she would be there at the start of act 3. Shes still not there, nor in my estate. So am I out of luck for the ambrosia/supplier trophy or can I get her back somehow? I dont know why this issue is happening now because it didn't before. And I didn't flirt/romance anyone else if that makes a difference. Help please?
Isabella gone even with max friendship?

You can't romance Isabela in Act 1...you have to start in Act 2.
I also don't recall a quest to meet her in the Hanged Man towards the Act 2 ending....unless that's her Questioning Beliefs quest...but you should have had that earlier if your friendship is maxed out (it triggers at 50% friendship).
She should always come back if your friendship or rivalry is greater than 50%, independent of romance.

Max friendship with isabella. At the end of act 2 shes supposed to be in the Hanged Man but shes not. I started act 3, shes still nowhere to be seen even after letting her keep the relic. I need her to come back, why isnt she showing up? I need her so I can get the ambrosia and supplier trophy.

Isabela isn't in the Hanged Man at the end of Act 2 though...she leaves regardless.
Did she come back for the Arishok battle?
If then, she should be in the Hanged Man at the start of Act 3. She won't show up in your party selection screen until you go to the Hanged Man and speak with her, though.

You need to complete Isabela's "Questioning Beliefs" quest before she leaves during her "To Catch a Thief" quest in Act 2. If you don't, she will not return regardless of her approval rating. You unlock the Questioning Beliefs once she reaches 50% approval (friendship or rivalry).

She didn't come back for the Arishock battle. Once I started Act 3, I went to the hanged man and she wasn't there.

I had Questioning Beliefs active along with the final quest before starting act 3, and the Questioning Beliefs description said something like, "Meet isabella at the Hanged Man to talk", something along those lines. So I went there and she wasn't there. This was after giving her the relic and I honestly dont think that quest was active before she got her relic and left because I always do my companions quests immediately before anything else. This is strange.

Sigh, that could be it too. Its weird because I did the same thing in my previous playthrough and didn't have any problems. Gah, I guess in my next playthrough Ill use her in my party and make sure she's a real happy camper. Thanks for the help everyone, much appreciated.

Questioning Beliefs activates as soon as you hit 50 friendship/rivalry with her.
It's possible that you were at 45 or something, gained the necessary points during her relic quest, but was left unable to complete Questioning Beliefs because of her departure.

After the 1.01 patch for 360, the same method you described (that previously worked in my first 2 playthroughs) no longer works, at least for for me. Basically, my only option since that patch has been to tell Isabela to give the Qunari the relic, or she does not come back to fight the Arishok at the end of Act 2. Even with max friendship. I have tried this over and over, with her as an LI, and not.

ive never had a problem with her coming back shes always come back for me love interest or not are you sure your doing it right im on 360 btw
