I somehow acquired a Drowned patry member... probably though the control undead ability. Problem is that I'm now stuck with it as a party member that won't go away.  I've tried everything and for those of you that remember Drowned have one nasty Aura effect thats constantly hurting/stunning my party members and NPCs... the game is complete unplayable now.    A little help someone?

One thing that might work - go into the game options and turn the difficulty up to setting where your spells damage your own party. Now set off a bunch of Turn Undeads, Mass Cures, Fireballs etc. near it; you should be able to kill it. (You might need to use a Stone of Alarm to rest and memorize the spells).  Scattering everybody first would be advisable.

Another possibility is to have the character who controlled it go control something else. There should be any number of ghasts or wights wandering around nearby.

Have you had any luck with getting rid of the Drowned?

You can also try going to an inn and removing everyone from the party with the sign-in book (this obviously won't work if your main character is the one controlling the dead dude... ).

Since someone had asked, I basically got into a huge battle and had one of the monsters finally kill the drowned. Very annoying. Great game tho!
