I got the PS3 version and pumped like $100 into it before the PSN hacking hit.....
My PS3 has since been collecting dust.

Is there a way to export my PS3 saves to PC?

It'll be nice to have those saves when DA3 comes out.


Or should I just buy the ultimate edition for PC and start over? it's like $30 now.

Or maybe I should wait and see if DA3 is worth buying.... hope it doesn't turn out to be like DA2 or some arcade game....

That sucks, damn Sony handling that hacking bussiness poorly.

I would say yes, go with the Ultimate Edition and play it on PC as you get ALL the content + better patches and access to graphical and bug fix mods.

You will have to start over as the saves dont transfer but theres plenty of ways to make infinete exp or money by your first trip to Lothering so you can save time on characters and get back to where you were pretty fast. I do suggest getting a mod that makes it availible to re-unlock all your class Specializations again though.

If you got a PC that handles it. it's the way to play DA:O, consoles are weak in comparison.

Since your saves can't transfer, getting the UE and playing on the PC is the way to go if you enjoyed the game enough. Too, you're assuming there's importance to the DA:O saves that may or may not exist for DA3. If that's what you are wanting the UE for, to get a save, you might be disappointed. Not saying one way or another (since I don't know), but pointing out the possibility.

I bought the Ultimate Edition and yes, I recommend you to buy it. You have to be willing to do everything again though. But playing on the PC is a totally different experience, in consoles the game is a little poor IMO
