I venture to guess that I've been a "girl gamer" longer than you've been out of diapers. But by all means you keep spewing stereotypes if it makes you feel better about yourself.Vodrath wrote...
What Blizzard does DAMN well is designing and implementing very userfriendly controls that can even get would be girl gamers into their stuff (I dont mean this as an insult, but learning abstract controls to navigate in an artificial 3D-World to kill stuff usually turns off girls).

While the OP phrased it horribly and dashed any hopes his argument ever had of validity, he has a point. There's several GLARING gameplay errors in DAO and tactics overriding user commands is just one of many. A movement or action command from the player should always override any tactic, but sometimes it doesn't - leaving you wondering just why the hell your mage is standing in melee range when you told him to move, etc.

Maybe he saw the relationship between DAO & WoW when the Sword of Truth was mentioned in the game.

I do find that in tight places you accidently click on party members, but I solved this by insead of doing the auto click and party run to location....just use your WASD keys. Allso in combat I tend to click on chars, than direct them with the WASD keys to the badguy I want them to beat down upon. This way I don't have three chars beating on some low lvl and wasting DPS that could be spread out more....I'm noticeing with each play through (about to finish my third). I'm dropping badguys faster and faster. This is even useing diffrent main chars each time and since this last play through I'm doing a warrior...I'm bring Wyn and Mor less and less and doing almost all Melee Warrior party except for Lei for opening chest and doors. Even some times I don't bring her and just go back after the area is clear with her since my backpack allways gets way to full.andyr1986 wrote...
Turn of hold position. Right click ground. When not in combat turn on hold position, hold down right mouse button use WASD keys to move.
Are you smacking the keyboard with your face to make this difficult?
