Hi all, I'm trying to do the campaign on extreme, just in Garrus mission where you have to close their doors, where you have to jump on the shovels vorcia there with a flamethrower, which continues to kill me, I'm an engineer as a class and as an aide miranda . Can anyone give me some advice?

Pls need help!

Incinerate or Overload the pyro's gas tank.

You could also try using your drone for a bit of distraction.

That part is a pain for almost every class.  Your "powers" will not work around that corner for some reason.  My best strategy would be to position Miranda into the open to draw the flame thrower's attention, then wait until his burst is over ( he has a short delay between attacks ), during that delay turn the corner and blast him with the incinerate and pistol to head.  I've not had a lot of luck with the drone doing enough to get by that corner.  I usually take Grunt with me to do the "get attention being in the open" part, but Miranda will work.

With a soldier or infiltrator its easier, but its still best to wait till he pauses.

btw, what I do is climb over that last wall before the vorcha ( but not into the open ).  Then dock into cover on the corner - the vorcha will often try to fry you thru the corner, but it will not hit you.  That is when you wait for his pause in order to strike.

This tactic trivializes the pyro, a few shots to his head or tank after his stream stops and he's done.

What I did on this was I would have Miranda and whoever else out of my view, and I would quickly lean out around the corner and have them use their powers. Since they're out of view and you should be facing the pyro, they'll automatically hit. Then you can just fire away while it's stunned.

Yep, that pyro is not that dangerous in that section. The thing to watch out for in that area is that when a vorcha is very closeby, you can still get hit by shot even when in cover.

I disagree with the "that pryo is not that dangerous in that section".  I have died more there than in Mordin + Garrus missions combined.  No matter how well I'm doing, I always slow down and play it careful at this point because once you get staggered, you are done for.  As mentioned above, the soldier can AR thru there, the infiltrator can use cloak, but engineer and adept have more trouble because powers do not work around the corner.  Hope OP has got past this part by now.

That part sucks. However nothing is worse than Jentha and her Revenent -- that thing stops health regeneration, I swear. I dread that part every time I play NG+.

That's why I avalanche woop her ass everytime I see her pass by. Freezing solves all problems!

when the pyro takes a break, you can also throw stasis at him. And when the bubble goes out, you go all out taking him down.
he's a damn nuisance .

I was just playing thru this part today and recorded the Pyro guy part.  I docked into cover, waited for the pyro attack to stop, activated Arush -- then I could not undock from cover. Image IPB  So...  Waited for Pyro attack to stop, undock from cover, then activate AR and shoot him in the face with a shotgun.
