LoL, bambi burgers ftw, not as tasty as panda burgers but hey nothing says delicious like eating an endangered species right?

Never had cornish cheese, in a couple of days I move back to spain to see my family for a very brief xmas break before returning here, if I find some around I will give it a try and take it south...

How good is it to cook? You know, make sauces and stuff like that

beautifully crumbly, melts well, strong flavour
Cornwall's really got into cheese making, thanks to European funding the farmers have managed to diversify successfully.

as for the bambi burgers.... local culled, not hunted, venison, and damn yummy with chilli jam

Hopefully it's Awakening Anders, DA2 Anders doesn't have any herbalist training.

That made me laugh really hard for some reason.

In reply to OP; I was arguing with my boyfriend a while back and called him Anders by mistake... Image IPB

I love the people here! I have not played DA in 2 whole days. I have been TRYING to mod Oblivion for my son(can't get Skyrim yet). What a nightmare! Ugh! But now I'm back.

Star, my day:

Look for work, lost my job last month, bad Juju!

Eat less due to lack of job.

Keep up with hyper 13 year old son, that's my exercise.

Play-read forums-play. Add coffee :)

not a good time to be unemployed, must be even harder with a young teenage boy. I can wish you nothing but good luck me dear, wish I could magic soemthing up for you ... how about head housekeeper in the castle, you tell the others what to do while you sit an drink coffee and eat cake (tasting!) all day:wizard:

I preferred Morrowind to Oblivion, felt less linear

Started a new Origins, and called my hound something new. Decided that if I wanted an attack dog then it had to be Keano (most US readers won't understand, sorry!)

Evenings for a while will be busy, damn the season's jollities! gaming will be put aside and we'll watch The Killing 2 in one big glut of subtitles and jumpers.

Thank you for your good wishes TanyaT! I would SO love to work in a castle. I have visited England twice, and I love it there. I kept looking at all the Castles and Keeps and thinking, I want that! If I ever get one, it has to have secret passages! Hope you survive the season:)

Alright! This is a WIP, but I'm trying to put together the music I listen to while playing. If anyone wants to check it out, go here:

it would appear I have ! yesterday was a BH.....
i spent the day walking on a very long beach, Perranporth. watching kids playing football, dads playing cricket, surfers, but mostly loads of dogs going nuts, and finished off with a pasty while sitting on the sea wall.

of course spouse and I did mention DA once or twice in conversation .....

I had to go and start a new game in DA:O just to try and find Anders in the tower. I looked and could not find him. Where is he. Little things like this drive me nuts! I too got the mod that lets your mage kiss Cullen. I also downloaded the Ser Gilmore mod. Maybe I have a thing for redheads. Mmmm... I hope they bring back more talk and romance in DA3. I love Bioware!!

ho hum, starting another run through, as an Amell from Origins to DA2, should see me through to parsnip sowing time ... winter, damn all to do in the garden, it's wet and bleh (how did the Cornish ever dry their linen in winter before electricity!) so here I am again a human mage just after my harrowing, flirting with Cullen, chatting to an Anders in the Apprentice Quarters and I remembered you'd not found him
Well for a start he's got black hair and beard ! he's in the library area, where you do the summoning bits when cleaning up the tower for the Four Treaties. he's trying to control fire with a tutor. Come back through later and he's looking at the books, click on him and you get all Anders's flippancy

Hey! I found him. Then I just couldn't stand to look at him anymore. What happened? Did he dye his hair for an escape attempt?

I listen to a lot of radio drama as I work (helps keep me sane) but how am I supposed to stay away from my obsession when Nicolas Boulton's always on the radio!
He's in drama, comedy, narrating books etc ALL the time. Got a good range of voices, but I still like his Hawke best.

nice to know he gets the work though :-)

I really like the interactions with characters in(most) bioware games, been playing skyrim and Oblivion inbetween playing DAO and DA2.  I really wish that TES had more character interaction between the PC and NPCs.  Especially to the Spouse of the Dragonborn, "Can you bake me something?", "Has the store made any money?" That's pretty much the only interaction you get with spouses in skyrim, wtf bethesda?  Getting off track now heh..  Some of the characters from the DA series that stuck with me the most were Sten, Loghain(especially after reading stolen throne), Justice(when he was a BAMF back in Awakenings), Zevran and Fenris.  Always leave me warm insideImage IPB  I always wonder how they were doing inbetween games and how they're holding up.  I hope to see them in DA3 or future installments..

I've had this game for years now and I've never ever noticed that! Just goes to show you that there's still loads of stuff hidden away still waiting to be found, I'll keep an eye out.

I also agree with people in here, DA is an obsession of mine as well. Glad to see we have a nice little thread here to share our love of this game around :D

I'm just running through the Dalish female warden. Had done it right at the start but none of the weighty significance was there.
Merril's changed a bit :o, what a prissy cow she is! And there's Pol all full of good humour.
I'd love to know how the elves went from US to Norn Iron, must have been a hell of a spell that did that

Origins is my bolt hole while spouse's mother's here, she thinks I'm locked away in here working (I am, for the most part) and it's the only time she stops talking at me, so I finish work, take a deep breath murder some darkspawn and canoodle with Alistair, gird my loins and go out smiling ready to hear the stories I have heard a million times over thirty five years
