Seems like everyone has basically the same save file where nothing bad happens.
Does no one role-play?
Though she is dating Liara, my Shep has a crush on Tali - whom has yet to reciprocate. (at best they are "good friends" ... anyone who has been sweet on someone to only be "friends" knows how that feels) While on Illium she starts to seriously rethink her relationship with Liara because, A) she feels Liara's attraction to her two years ago may have just been an adolsecent crush, which she now seems to be over, and
Asari lifespans make any kind of long term relationship problematic. Four members of her team died destroying the Collector base and as hard as it is on her, she doesn't feel like she can express her pain to anyone on the ship. The only person she is close enough to show vulnerability is living in a secret base, always too damned far away.
The government and military she believed in pretty much spat in her face and she was left working for a group of terrorists; and feeling like, while she was just an asset to them, at least they made her feel wanted. But then she had to give the Illusive Man the laugh rather than risk handing him the Collector base, so now she doesn't even have that support.
She helped out a superior she respected and for that she is being charged as a war criminal. In fact, just about every time she has done a personal favor for anyone she has been bit in the arse by it, and so finds herself trusting people less and less.
With the Alliance and Council still refusing to accept her warnings about the Reapers she has lost faith in both organizations and feels like she is fighting a one woman war for a galaxy that will only resent her for it.
None of her personal goals are in her reach any more; the Council seems to have turned its back on her as a Spectre and she will never advance in the Alliance military again ... if she avoids imprisonment. Her career is effectively *over*.
On top of that she has had to watch her friends' careers be destroyed simply for being associated with her.
One of the few Alliance operatives she thought would believe in and trust her, spit in her face and called her a traitor.
She has no personal connections to anybody but the crew of a ship that was taken away from her.
