Hey all,

So I've just gotten to the point where I can accept the letter to start the final phase of the game for my 2nd playthrough of The Last Straw quest. It seems to be in a game-breaking state though, here's what happens:

I can accept the quest fine. I head to The Gallows and I see the cutscene with the the Templar lady telling me Orsino and Meradith are fighting, etc. That cutscene fades out and I head to a loading screen. I then end up in Lowtown, but there is no cutscene like there should be. I simply load in to Meradith and Orsino standing at the bottom of the steps, and I can't initate anything with them, save some idle banter. Everything is already destroyed and such, Anders is still in my party, I assume because I am unable to get the cutscene to deal with him.

Oddly enough, If I continue on through Lowtown as you do after the cutscene I'm missing, events still happen. Bethany came and offered her help to me, and I also saw a scene where a mage turns into an Abomination when some Templars cornered her. I haven't gone farther than that though, as I didn't want to possibly mess things up worse than they already are.

I'm not sure if it matters or not, but on my first playtrough I sided with the mages as I was a mage and everything went swimmingly, not at issue at all. Now on my second playthough that I'm siding with the Templars with, it's all gone to hell.

So, has this happened to anyone else? Is there a fix, something I can do? Or am I basically stuck, unable to complete the game due to this seemingly game-breaking glitch? =(

I take it you've tried reloading an earlier save?

Yes, multiple times. Same thing happens every time.

Are you able to head into Templar Hall? Maybe if you go in there it will load? Though I am not sure, Did you load DLC? Its been glitchy maybe it did something.
