If the Presidium's back then I hope the music returns. Walking around the presidium with that classic sci-fi music was one of the best atmospheres in the Game, and something that Mass Effect 2 was never able to recreate.

I wanna see the return of Refund Guy!

In neither game was he on the Presidium.

Cept in ME1 he was in the Wards right by the Presidium which to a few would count for that.

Anyway, I agree. I'd like to see The Refund Guy return to bother The Turian Merchant.

Their proximity or lack thereof to the Presidium doesn't make them not-Wards, regardless of whether some think they do.

Please no elevators.

If it leads to squad banter though then yes to elevators. They weren't that annoying anyway.

Going to elevator that takes over a minute for possible squad banter doesn't worth it.

I'd pay a higher price than elevators just to get the Presidium, let alone squad banter:D

I don't understand the elevator hate, I wasn't bothered by them at all. It was so worth it just to hear the cheesy music anyway ;D

I hope the Citadel gets conquered by the Reapers at some point in the game.

As the seat of galactic power it should be an early target of the Reapers, unless the Council is already indoctrinated.

Happy happy, presidium is awesome. <3 I wouldn't mind having the elevators back either. I enjoyed the Citadel elevators. Normandy ones not so much.

Loading screens > Elevators. 90 % of the time I just got news reports and I hate that they were so long.

I'd happily wait double that just to be rid of those horrid loading screens. Replaying ME now reminded me how seamless everything felt. It also didn't help the 'hints' they gave you were often insulting to your intelligence.

You are a blasphemer, and therefore you must die! :P

I think what's great about the Presidium returning is that it was the most memorable location from ME1 (for me at least). Just remember thinking now this is what a futuristic sci-fi cityscape looks like and the ambient music that accompanied it...a very memorable experience indeed, planets like Illium and Bekenstein came close to capturing that feeling.

And if there's more Presidium and Citadel in ME3 hopefully there's more of Udina to annoy too. ;)

I want elevators back. With news reports and squaddie dialogue for sure.

There needs to be more ambient music. Just walking around with no music doesn't have the same feelings.

Feels more dead that way.

Sweet.  I hope we get to see more of it, too.  Standing in the Presidium, looking up, and seeing the entire giant ring all around me was such a tease. :P

Also, I hoping for elevators back, too.  And am I the only one that was hoping for the airlock on the Normandy to return, too?  Both that and the elevators brought a nice level of immersion.

I'd settle for the Normandy not leaving dock and flying away when all I want to do is go research a new upgrade.

So I wasn't the only one that was immensely bothered by that? Praise Jubileus!

Haha, yes!  Another reason we need the airlock instead! :P

The PC/console issue makes elevators tricky.

The 30 second loading screens on the 360 in ME2 were horrible. I'd rather be able to at least look at the character models and hear banter on an elevator while it loads.

I always considered the replacement of elevators with loading screens to be a huge overreaction by Bioware. The "Someone complained about X, remove it totally!" mentality that was heavy in ME2. It seems they forgot why they put the elevators in the game in the first place.

However having seen how fast it loads on even a half decent PC, (only a couple of seconds on some) then I would say being forced to sit through 30 seconds of elevator would be annoying, banter or not. Perhaps a simple "Loading complete. Press X to skip" text prompt in the bottom corner of the screen so you have the option?

Has anyone here noticed in ME2...if you take Shep to the far right of Andersons balcony and look at the passing public on the Presidium, a Turian has a dialog square on him?...He is even close enough to activate it (square from blue to red)...though nothing happens.

30 seconds? Did you install the game in your Xbox 360? Because here it takes way less than that!

Yeah. I found that guy while playing around with flycam mode. I've found a number of objects/people like that in various levels, actually, though usually they're under the floor or something like that.  Occasionally, and at certain camera angles, these squares will be visible through the wall/floor.
