Also, I spent all of yesterday reading through that link, Arcian. It was worth it. So very worth it. So thank you again!

Throw in a bit of the collectors in there as well.4ut0b4hn5child27 wrote...
That's explained a lot why the Mr.P the Avenger clothes looks like Asar's Justicar. bioware didn't leave a single trace one bit. Now i'm satisfied that Asari Justicars takes the model of clothes based from their Goddess which an actual prothean.

If it were in my hands, though, it would be a trailer like the "Fight for the lost" * ones they did for ME2. You know, short, like a scene from an interview, rendered with a breathtaking level of detail... Ahhh, yes. Would give anything to see Prothy rendered like that.
*(If you didn't see them back in the day, check them out to see what I'm talking about)

Damn it, things won't be the same once ME3 is out and everybody will be too busy to write on this thread.Arcian wrote...
Thanks, but that theory is pretty inaccurate. And yeah, I think we are all pretty excited about having him in the party.Bat32391 wrote...
Just read the prothean theory that Arcian made and it kicks ass. I can't wait to have prothy in the party he is going to be awesome.
In fact, I think I'm getting a bit sentimental... remember 8 months ago when the Prothy DLC info was mistakenly leaked on Origin? Back then, almost everyone - 9 out of 10 people - thought it was a bad idea. Prothy was indeed a very unpopular "theory", and I remember being one of the 1/10 who wanted to see it happen despite people telling me it was an idiotic idea and that I had sh!tty taste for wanting it in ME3. Then 6 months ago, I made this thread not really knowing how it would be received - hell, I wasn't entirely convinced Chris had lied about it being removed. 6 months and a few leaks later, Prothy's been blessed with a very devoted fanbase who just keeps growing - and which will most likely explode once the game comes out and those who've avoided spoilers so far will discover what we all already know.
So thanks to everyone who was there from the start and thanks to the people who came along later. It's been a fun ride so far, and it's just about to get better.

I guess we'll always have multiplayer... Sure there's no Prothy there, but I mean, to keep in touch with the community, right?

Perhaps unknown developments in lore will enable us to play as protheans in multiplayer...?Nissun wrote...
I know... I used to post here before ME2 was released, after it I stopped coming here. I came back a month ago because the rumors were killing me - and here I am. Ridiculously attached.

Rather unlikely, I know, but I'll be damned if I didn't want to rock those MP games as a prothean.

With Prothy on the squad, it seems that Shepard's personal "connection" with the protheans (aka the entire reason Shepard was involved in pretty much all of the events of the original ME) is null.

I understand that this is Prothy's support thread, but I have to get something off my chest - am I the only the only who won't be downloading him? Its not that I hate his character, but I feel that his appearance robs Shepard of a very important quality attributed to his/her character - his/her....protheaness.

You may well be the only one with that sentiment.
Me? I have no hesitations or reservations about the prothean squadmate and I can't wait to get him on my squad. It's going to be tough choosing between all these characters, but I can imagine having Garrus/Prothean as my go-to groundteam when the option presents itself.

Still, if anything that Shepard's Prothean connection should improve with Prothy.

Indeed. Look at it this way, Skorps:Mesina2 wrote...

Instead of Prothy robbing Shepard of her "most unique trait," Shep has someone that can put all that brainf**k in proper perspective, and Prothy has someone who can (at least partially) understand him and the soul of his species. Through each other, neither one is truly alone.

True, I'm personally very interested in whether or not Prothy has any opinions on Shep recieving visions from a Prothean beacon, visiting Ilos, finishing the plan started by the Prothean scientists there (using the Conduit), all that sort of thing. And Prothy might be one person Shep can actually talk to about that stuff.Mesina2 wrote...
