See, that's the thing. He's got his own page in the artbook and a huuuuuge amount of dialogue in the script. But he was originally listed as DLC for the CE.ReallyRue wrote...
Isn't he in the artbook though? I thought that comes out before the game.
So either he was moved to the regular addition, or some stuff got cut.

Well, it's less of being important to the plot than it is of him being historically and lore-ically important. He's the last Prothean, and that is a very, very big deal.

Incorrect - there is only 1 current DLC character being made available in the CE (the Secret Squadmate #1 is part of the game proper) and so far, there has been no confirmation as to whether or not Prothy will also be in the game proper or if he'll be the DLC character.LTiberious wrote...

Then again, the DLC was initially leaked under the title "The Prothean" and we all know Bioware's history with "denying" DLC content....

I am so excited to meet this guy. I will admit however that the design disappointed me a lot at first (I love the wasp look of the Collectors) but it has grown a lot on me to the point I find it really awesome. This month is going to feel very long!

Well i know they both can be squaddies and i'm retty sure one of them is dlc and the other in the actual game so i just assume that the prothean would be more important to story than the other. just my opinion.

Well, one doesn't need to be DLC. They could both quite easily be in the base game (also, seeing as the other spoiler squadmate is also quite ingrained into the story, I would think it would be more liable to be in the base game than Prothy imo.) And besides, having both in the base game makes it so that Mesina will get that Batarian... Maybe, I actually have no idea.
