Well, when the same guy is trying to get his mooks to kidnap/kill you, I wouldn't be surprised if everyone disagreed with his actions.

I just realized that Prothy+Garrus is the ideal squad for an infiltrator. I still think in terms of ability bars like in ME1, though. Garrus is half tech, half soldier. With another infiltrator, you fill both bars, and with Prothy, you fill the biotics bar.

Actually, I would think Prothy to be a Vanguard, and Liara to be the team Adept. So, the infiltrator's dream team would be more analogous to Kaidan and Prothy. My Sentinel, however, wil be able to use Garrus and Prothy to their full potential.

I'm gonna take Prothy no matter the class I play, so I don't know why I talk like I care about having a balanced team.

Until I've exhausted every line of dialogue he has to say, or the game forces me to take someone else at some point, Prothy is coming with me. Even if it means having a ridiculously unbalanced all-biotic team at one point (challenge is fun!)

That's most likely how it will be, with a 90% certainty. Personally, I wouldn't be entirely eager to turn away a chance to find other prothean survivors and give him hope for his people, even though this would lessen his "I am the anger of a dead people"-impact. I feel that it would be contrived if he was the literally only prothean to survive.

Either way, I'm not going to be disappointed.

yea despite all the crying about retcon and w/e im looking forward to this. i also hope sp dlc uses the protheans history in some form

Well the way I see it from the sounds of it, its not highly impossible for there to be more Stasis pods setup like Prothy's was. I mean there had to be other groups of Protheans on different planets doing exactly the thing that Prothy did and since the communcations was probably next to none during the war because of what the Reapers trick with the Citadel did to their Empire. I would say that its highly probably that there are other Protheans alive out there but slim chance that there would be a few females within one of those groups. But of course if all those were meant with a few other surviving Protheans and some being female, they would have to take a primitive way to repopulate their species.

His group probably had a couple of females, considering the goal, but then the whole indoctrination thing happened and then he was forced to hunt them all down and kill them.
