Noticed how Protheans are like a composite of some the current generation species?

Asari melding and possibly lifespan.
Salarian genius and similiar appearance.
Militant and expansionistic like the turians.
Krogan hardiness and "kill or be killed" mentality.
Built AI's and ended up fighting a disastrous war with them like the quarians.
Similiar features to drell (gills).
Four eyes like the batarians.

Don't know what they've got in common with humans/elcor/volus/hanar/raloi though.

Handing work of their scientific genetic evolution methods they took. Didnt they genetically modify themselves to be superior over all the other races type deal. So with that it makes sense they had alot of the traits found in different species, wouldnt be surprised if they experimented on those races when they were primitive beings and took them from there because they found those traits in them. But I cant really say much on the AI deal you cant really genetically do that lol.  

Just an idea since we know they were doing something with primitive humans.

Well, maybe prothy doesn't have them, but at least the collectors had wings, and the raloi are supposed to be avian...
The hanar are very close to the protheans (in some ways:?). Can't come up with something linking humans and elcor to the protheans, apart from humanity being uplifted by them.

Also, are there sections on any of the squadmates or characters? If so, do any of them look starkly different than they did if they were seen previously? Or is there any more Prothy?

Sorry yes I meant mass effect 3, I was a bit too excited.

Garrus, jack (which was laready leaked). Kai leng and TIM have their own pages, and they seem to go through some major... change. There is a bit more on prothy and a lot on the cruicible. 

they have a lot on ships, guns, but nothing on armor really.

Off topic - What exactly is the Crucible? I've seen it pop up a few times and I'm guessing its very, very important to the plot but... just what is it?

On topic - Does anyone know if Prothy gets his own bad ass weapons or is given the ones that the player provides all the squaddies with?

How ironic would it be for Prothy to gun down husks with either the Blackstar or the Collector Assault Rifle? That is like having a Krogan bioterrorist that kills Salarian and Turian children.
