I think it's a good thing that more races aren't like the Protheans, considering that they'd probably have wiped out a race like the krogans without hesitation.

I'd guess that the Protheans have/had gills because they got all wet (pun intended) over the secrets of water and probably lived in oceans before evolving into amphibians or something like it.

What if Elias Toufexis voiced him? Give him a pitch change and a voice filter (though it may not be needed for Toufexis, his voice pretty much IS a voice filter) and you have this melancholic yet threatening and badass voice.

Alright here's another question to chew on: Where should I take Prothy? In every Bioware game I've played I've been very picky about where I take squadmates. In Origins I planned out everything based on their character. So far I know two missions he seems almost essential: Thane's mission and Thessia. Any input on this?

Well, seeing as he is a biotic specialist, he would likely be most effective against Husks and weaker organics. So, I would think that missions involving reaper forces, Cerberus, and even merc bands if such encounters stil exist. I would forego him for Geth related missions, seeing as he isn't fully equipped to handle synthetics.

The wiki is a source of information about the lore used by many, and shouldn't be a spoiler minefield. Really, the presence of that page is very inconsiderate. Now, do we know if that page was made by some random guy, or the officials over at the site? If it was just some dude who felt like trolling the masses by spoiling a huge chunk of the game, then it would be appropriate to take it down.
