It does. I'm going over some of his lines with his voice in my head, and it all clicks incredibly well.Jynthor wrote...
Just listened to the voice. Not what I expected at all, I like it but will have to see if it actually fits him ingame.

That voice.... was SO not what I was expecting, like at all.
That said, it's rather growing on me the more and more that I listen to it... and I swear to god, I've definitely heard this voice actor in other works before, but for the life of me, I can't remember his name.(I think....)
Could it be.... Phil LaMarr?

Obv., we've never seen a real Prothean before, but he looked eerily similar to The Collectors when I was expecting closer to the "statues" on Ilos.
Just saying... I'm now leaving this thread.

Btw, is that the Prothean filename? If so, why on earth does it say 'yahg'?Xoisite wrote...
Well I think I've found the Prothean's voice! Download the tool from http://social.biowar...3/index/9321886, extract the audio files and listen to kro001_banter_yahg_b_D_Int.006.

They're discussing the captive yahg on Sur'kesh. All of his sound files are from that mission.AxisEvolve wrote...

Because its Prothys party banter on how a Yahg (that got freed from stasis on Sur Kesh) looks different from what he saw there race in his time.AxisEvolve wrote...

I pictured him with a voice like Thane's, just a bit deeper.

That's how I imagined it too. At any rate, I was expecting an American-sounding alien. Maybe even an English one, but this...
This is very unexpected, and I like it. A lot.
Edit: Read some of the Youtube comments. My God, if people on there don't get stupider by the day. <_<

Seems to be a tie between TC Carson (Kratos) and Phil LaMarr (Everything).BaneForever wrote...
He sounds a lot like Kratos to me. If it is the same voice actor that would be awesome.

LOL! I had to do a double take when I found out Phil voiced Vamp from Metal Gear Solid. And I just looked up his work and apparently he voiced Mouse in ME2... didn't expect that! I do really like his work.

I'm glad it's not another North American accent and after listening to it a few times, I realized it isn't Jamaican and actually sounds good. At first I chuckled, I admit.
