I mean, yeah, the story draft was just an early version, but you would assume they'd stick to the "core" storyline, so to speak. Prothy is completely integral to this core storyline, from what I have seen in the leaks. Otherwise they'd have to completely rewrite the entire game's story just to edit him out, and I don't think they would go through that PITA.

Though I still don't see how they leaked Prothy as a DLC character.

How do you make that mistake, unless it's done on purpose.

There was another story leak just recently, and being the spoiler-addict that I am, I went through it.

My friend, Prothy is 100% confirmed to be part of the main game.

Yep apparently there will be a prothean squaddie, unless they happened to change it. Doubt it tough he is so integral to the plot.

I'm just curious if he is still considered to be a DLC character seeing how integral he seems to be to the plot. They might have changed him to a regular character.

That or they really want to screw over people who buy the game used.

Having him as DLC breaks the main story. I just can't see it happening.

However, the Collector Edition's list of content still says there's a downloadable character and mission, despite this information "being removed" according to Priestly. I take this as there being a new DLC character in Prothy's place. Maybe a batarian or something.

That is interesting. He must be pretty important if not having him part of the story would break it. I am intrigued! ^_^

If not then who would be the new DLC character if not prothy? Is there any information on who that DLC character could be then?

I am trying to think of a possible character but got nothing. Like you said a batarian sounds possible, though I know a few of my shepards wouldn't trust a batarian squadmate being from a colonist background and I doubt many batarians trust Shepard.

Agreed.  The spoiler info was rich, and I think he's going to be a new fav once people get over the whole "But I'm butthurt that the Protheans can exist after being extinct" angle.

I honestly want to see how this turns out, i mean 50,000 years later and a prothean somehow still exists. Maybe its a clone which genetic memories. Maybe a single prothean was kept in a stasis pod and power kept him/her from dying. I mean a prothean beacon worked 50,000 years later they were obviously very advanced.
