Garrus is also pretty inconsequential to the plot, but that doesn't make him DLC. There is no reason outside of your own head that points to EDI being a DLC squadmate.

There is no EDI-romance.

It can point to anything, but it could very easiily point to Prothy, seeing as him coming into the Galactic scene after the well thought notion that all the Protheans were dead could be equated to the title "From Dust", even though I'm not saying it is inconclusive evidence.

There's a chance he's not DLC and actually in the main game. No one knows 100% either way right now.

Because he's been switched back and forth from DLC to main game a couple of  times now. Also, the outrage at him being DLC began as soon as he was leaked months ago. A large majority was/is against him being an add-on, so I think it's unlikely that Bioware wouldn't have reconsidered him for non-DLC.

It's going to be DLC because that's how BioWare rolls nowadays. If you want the full game, you'll have to pay extra.

To an extent, I believe that. But I don't think it's true in this case. We'll find out soon though. Probably before March 6th.

No way anyone from BioWare will show up in a thread about Prothy, it's like they purposely avoid it.

7 months ago I would understand why they'd avoid it, considering it would have confirmed Prothy was real. Now, on the other hand...

I just hope they like the reception that he's got. I can imagine he was quite the experiment for them during development, more so than Legion. Especially considering his voice...

Because Bioware can actually change their mind within the, what, 7 or 8 months since it was first revealed and put him in the game. You know, like they have?

According to the guy who got the game early..... Prothy is DLC and his name is indeed Javik.

I don't 100% trust his word but apparently he's been right about most other things.

I don't know if you ever have worked with digital audio-editing software, but you can't edit out an actor's accent ever with it, it's just not physically possible. <_<
