The Asari are based ff the Greek city states and the Turians on the Roman empire. Pretty much says as much in the codex. The Salerians also seem more like the H.R.E. then China.

I think the 'Romanness' of the Turians is quite obvious. I wonder whether the choice of name is a nod to the mythical 'Trojan' origins of Rome. Trojans are sometimes referred to as 'Teucri' as well.

200 pages is pretty good for a character that most people know nothing or little about.

True, but our problem is that we are too nice. We'll never get anywhere on the bsn without being nasty and vile. We need a good, long argument in order to eat up that distance. We just need someone that can be argued with, who won't budge even in the presence of cold solid logic... Oh Tiberious! Where art thou? We hast many a thing to disagree about!

Thank you for curing my ignorance! This definitely seems appropriate for Prothy, from the lone warrior lyrics to the tense, pounding chorus. The last twenty seconds in particular are what I expect from Prothy's theme.
