The beginning reminds me of Assassins creed revelations theme, i liked it.

Speaking of ACR, theme songs, and Prothy, "Iron" by Woodkid, anyone?

A link for those still woefully ignorant of this beauty.

If Ezio can kick all sorts of ass in his 50s(and in his 60s if you watched Embers, although he really felt his age at that point) Then Prothy can kick some ass on his 50,000s.

Meh to Slam, Dark Channel sounds cool though. But he'd have a third and fourth power, they all do.

So we know he's a biotic, likely similar to a Vanguard, but do we know what his powers will be? I think it would be cool to have a squad member that could use Charge... doesn't seem like it's too much to ask for, but I don't know.

Slam and "Dark Channel," which from the data file looks like a really long-lasting but slow-acting ME2 reave (20 dmg/s, 30 s duration).

Could you please post his power loadout and the name (or even Ranks) for his class passive?

(I tried to find that info in the original leaks, but all I could come with for the Prothean's powers were Slam and Biotic Focus)

SLAM:
    "sfxgamecontent.sfxpowercustomaction_slam": {"cooldowntime": [  "(BaseValue=4,RankBonuses[0]=0.0f,RankBonuses[1]=0.25f,RankBonuses[2]=0.0f,Formula=DivideByBonusSum)"],

Can't find his passive.  Or any passive, for that matter.  It's really weird considering liara's passive is obviously in the demo.

Javik isn't biologically 50,000 years old. Plus, his species might be really long-lived like the asari.

EDIT: My point being, Prothy being 300 years old may not mean that much in terms of "mental age" if his species lives as long as the krogan or the asari, kind of like a 30 year old Mordin being an old man among the salarians.

Does anyone think that Sentinels dual omni blades are like Ezios dual hidden blades. The end of Assassins creed revelation kinda reminded me of the talk with Vigil, the protheans fall and Shepards mission to stop a catastrophe.
Im sorry but there are alot of similarities with Assassins creed and Mass Effect (witch is not a bad thing may I add), cant wait for AC3 and ME3 this year (2012 is surprisingly a verry god year for game trilogy endings).

That makes me curious, do you think Protheans live as long as the Asari? Perhaps their lives are around Salarian or human length, though their survival during the Reaper war implies longevity in order to enact their final plans. I'm guessing longer lives, since it would better fit their sage-like nature.

Dude, the two best things I know in video gaming is Assassin's Creed and Mass Effect. I've personally been clamoring for Infiltrator getting the dual omniblades instead of the sentinel and being able to deliver an extra-damaging stabbing attack from stealth.

Alas, I'll have to wait for Assassin's Creed XXVII to be able to go dual-laserblade space assassin.

I think they said Mordin is over 40. Some say hes even 50 years old, thats really old for a salarian.

It is mentioned that he was born in the 2150's, which is about the time Shepard was born.

Christina Norman's clarification on the matter.

Hmm, interesting.... I'd assume that he'd have two other of the "normal" powers (maybe Pull and/ro Throw), but it would be hard to tell which he'd have exactly with the formating of the data's list. Anything in there about a power called "Biotic Focus"? I had found that one in the previous leaks (was a power which reset squadmate cooldowns and buffed their powers/recharge speed) and had assumed that that was a power that the Prothean would have, but perhaps it was later replaced by Dark Channel.

Not that "Dark Channel" doesn't sound awesome, too, but Biotic Focus = I HAVE NO COOLDOWNS U MAD BRO?

I'm also gonna guess that one of his "normal" powers is Shockwave, just throwin' it out there.

I hope not shockwave; I have shockwave myself.

But yes, no cooldowns = charge forever. I do so want that.

Clearly, you do not know the joys of double-Shockwave.  I took Jack with my Vanguard on a bunch of missions, and the two of us (plus Zaeed/Garrus/Grunt with his Concussive Blast) would just knock sh*t over and cackle madly.

Good times, bro.  Good times.

But yes, no cooldowns = charge forever. I do so want that.

Shockwave's been improved a fair bit in ME3 - you can give it a farther range to travel, evolve it to make enemies hit by it levitate helplessly in the air for a few moments, and it can cause biotic detonations on enemies already affected by biotics.

EDIT: Oh, thought you said you "hate shockwave myself", not "have shockwave myself". :pinched:

When you play on Insanity, though, the enemies all have shields, and are unaffected by Shockwave. When I used Jack with my Vanguard, it was mostly for the joys of the Triple-Shotgun-Squad, in which she was my replacement for Wrex (and will be replaced in return by Prothy for my Triple-Shotgun-ME3-Squad).

Edit: Ooh, I'm liking the improvements to Shockwave.

Here's  Question because  did discover the joy of the double shockwave...  now how  I went about at least was have my Shepard spec in the heavy verison while Jack specced in the version that had the wider area of effect.

No cooldowns on powers  =    Chargenovachargenova, shockwavechargenova.

Shockwave still staggers protected enemies (giving you time to knock a few out of cover/pop off a few shots), and with the right guns/ammo/powers, protection gets stripped pretty quickly (Incineration Blast/Area Overload make for funzies).

You may argue that it's easier to just shoot stuff, but in that case you should probably be playing Soldier.  Or spec your Vanguard like a Soldier, but with Charge.

Edit: Ooh, I'm liking the improvements to Shockwave.

Si.  Me gusta.  FYI, distance upgrade is vital, especially in multiplayer.
