As much as I loved the 'sole survivor' Prothy idea, I think spamming them in MP would be disastrous.

Hmm... I've always been curious about this. I mean seeing as how all of the aliens with the exception of the Hanar and Elcor are bipedal humanoids, but how can reproduction be the same? I mean it would make sense if they were all mamalian or mamal like, but some are clearly amphibious or reptilian and Protheans seem to be a mix of one of those and an insect so it's got to be a bit different.

On one hand that  ingorance makes me want to flip a table .

Having been on the internet long enough you develope a descently thick skin to some forms of ingorance.  I.E how in Revenge of the Fallen everyone was screaming racism  about Skids and Mudflap but  that  nothing more than "yo  mama" jokes growing  up.  

What I find to the be most delicious  irony is that some of  the same people that spewing some of  that nonsense.  Are some of the same ones when then see a picture of a Mass Effect female character was breast  size bgger than  B they are crying Sexism are the drop of a hat. Yet they can't see some how there views on how  every other alien can have different accents but as soon as the Prothean has an African accent its a problem. 

the hypcocrisy  is so funny that   you have to laugh because if now you would have aneurism.

Good thing is it is a pretty big download (600 mb), so that means his mission is pretty long OR he has alot of dialog *fingers crossed*.

Well, that sucks. The whole concept of DLC is getting on my nerves, but that's a different topic altogether. So, since he's now confirmed and so is his story, have they confirmed his actor?

Those that swoons over the prospect of getting Prothy, can download end enjoy him.

Those that think having an actual living Prothean in the game ruins things for them, can just choose to keep him out. I am personally in this camp, but I will download him and give him one chance to impress me. If I am not convinced, I will just uninstall the DLC.

Personally, that was one reason why I was hoping he wasn't DLC. If he's in the actual game, people might be more inclined to give him a chance before judging whether or not they like the inclusion of a Prothean, and specifically, Prothy. Their minds might be changed by what they see and discover. If he's DLC, most who don't like the idea probably just won't download him in the first place, and will never know.

I'm toying with the idea of downloading this DLC right now, if it's on there. It is the real thing, isn't it? And not likely to be tweaked or anything between now and the game's release date?
