600MB seems far too small, especially when you factor in the weapon and alternate appearance pack. Even moreso when you compare this to Lair of the Shadowbroker's 1.5GB size.

Since BioWare confirmed it all (heard rumors, didn't want to spoil myself), I'm dropping by to say I fully support this DLC and squadmate. :D Should be verrrrrry interesting!

I think Prothy should be given with new copies of ME3 because there are already people saying they wont get him. But I also think he should be there for everyone and was hoping he would be in the main game. Sad thing is he gets pushed as paid dlc because of the online pass EA is giving us to be able to play ME3 MP with new copies and its probably that, that is keeping Prothy from being free with new copies since both the online pass and prothy are each 10 bucks

Yeah, in that respect, the CE is an awesome deal. You get two appearence packs, an entire arsenal of weapons either though the act of preordering or in the CE itself plus maybe an armor set from Gamestop, a robo dog, a casual outfit, the artbook, a lithograph, the soundtrack, a dark horse comic, a shiny metal case, and PROTHYPROTHYPROTHYPROTHYPROTHY, all for about twenty bucks. Damn good deal in my opinion.

Its just like what they did in DA2, this isnt new for Bioware but come on, why Prothy as the DLC.


I borrowed DA2 from a friend, the DLC character didn't interest me in the slightest.
This DLC just seems so important. Regardless of the mission's content, we're dealing with a Prothean here, a creature from a civilization that nearly all beings in the Mass Effect universe revere. We were told in the first game that even the Protheans of utmost importance perished. Now we're told we can have one in the squad, for an additionl $10. I believe if you're going to have something as awesome as a Prothean companion, it should be crucial to the story and included with all copies of the game, not as an optional add-on.

I feel like Sozin's Comet will return before LoK airs
but it will air some time in spring 2012
and prothy looks awsome
