There's a theory going around that whatever you could've learned from this Prothean is already part of the core game, you don't need the DLC to get that content. What you do need this DLC for isto bring him along for the ride. I'm inclined to believe this, to be honest. But we won't know for certain until the game comes out.

Could somebody (Possibly Arcian) update the first post of this thread to link the "official" pictures of Prothy we've seen so far? I misplaced all the ones I saved, and I don't have time to find them all through the pages of this thread right now.

It's for... um... Research. Yeah. For artistic reference. To draw him.

Also, if after the release of the game some PC player with the resources can take a hundred or twenty hundred high resolution pictures of Prothy in-game, I would appreciate it very much. Something like what RiotLaFontaine did with pictures of Garrus and Turian NPCs (It's on the main page of the Garrus thread, they're awesome screenshot packs) I may be able to show my gratitude through fanart... Of any kind, if you know what I mean...

I hate to "spoil" everyone but according to the leak, Javik DOES play a role in the main plot AND he IS in the core game with or without the DLC. From ashes just gives the extra mission and full squad mate status for the game, that much is clear. I wont spill any details but I hope that settles everyone down for the moment.

No the leaks don't point one way or the other. He could be or he couldn't.

According to one guy that has the game early, he doesn't even appear in the base game.

I can give you a link but not here, only PM's, but I don't want to because he has MASSIVE spoilers about many things during the story (AKA the fate of old squaddies).

Just take my word on it. He has been 100% right about everything so far, and if the Prothean is called Javik then we know that because of him.

Hope they've not changed their minds about info and images today...Gamble said that the announcement was slated for today, but hasn't confirmed or postponed it...

True, I'm really tired of those concepts, now that averything has been confirmed, I need news, videos, images, something new to speak about while I try not to think at how many days are left before I can play ME3!

He didn't say friday, he said "Later this week" which is awfully vague and could mean anything.

So originally the announcement was supposed to be on Friday; now we don't have any confirm if it's still on Friday or if "in the coming days" means a few days later..
