I agree with you, they really can't win, but so?! I think complaining in such a way is wrong, even if the principle is right.
So Bioware now has the chance to say "Hey, we really care about your opinions, From Ashes free for every copy of Mass Effect 3"; or they can just say "This is business and you wuold complain anyway, so go on if you want, nothing will change"...

Yep, you don't stick your hand into a tank full of hungry sharks. Feed them or ignore them... but don't try reasoning with them.

I'm guilty of complaining from time to time (I played a significant part in  the "So what happened to the trial?" topic). But I'm always respectful and I don't make threats or insults to Bioware or anyone who disagrees with me.. More importantly I know when to drop it. 

I don't like that Javik is DLC but I don't think acting like bratty children will get us anywhere. The petition is a good way to go.. It's also good that people are talking about it, it gets the media to catch on when it's obviously a big deal. I just wish people would show some damn professionalism about the whole thing. Then they might actually get somewhere.

Really though, there shouldn't be more pics of Vega and Liara shown than Javik, seeing as he's, you know, the focus of the DLC and everything.

I'm guessing that's the new weapon that comes with the DLC.
EDIT: Looks like it's an energy beam AR weapon, similar to the Collector Particle Beam heavy weapon.

I think so.. it appears to be Prothean technology. It kind of looks like he's firing a green Vigil at them.
