Is there going to be a trailer today? I was under the impression that we would obtain a movin' picture of Prothy on this wonderful evening.

Also, I LOOOVE that new gun. I'm hoping it isn't another assault rifle, since I'm already getting three of those via Amalur and Gamestop, but it is awesome enough for me to let that slide.

Is it wrong that possibly for my first play through I want to do it without Javik just to see how much he and DLC add to the game. I might take Chris advice and do the first play through without my regular Sheperd just to see the effect of everything I've done in the past 2 games.

I think Chris' idea is really neat and I might try it myself too, HOWEVER, I don't see me playing the game without Prothy, that'd be unethical.

Vega should be a variable though. Sentinel or Soldier, depending on who your VS is.

That's perfectly feasible. I'm planning on doing the opposite: after all of my other playthroughs, I'll make a new one from Mass Effect 3. I'll probably still obtain Javik, just because. That is, because he's awesome.

The Collectors were never fully destroyed. Only their base was. Bioware has tweeted they had more than one ship and many weren't at the base when it was destroyed.

Oh trust me it kills me inside just to think of a play through without Javik, but it would be cool to see how much he adds to the story and if it really helps explain the game.

What weird store are you getting your copy at? I'm picking up my collector's edition at the midnight release... And it's at a Gamestop.

I don't think the Collector's edition was ever available for in-store pick up at gamestop. That's why I didn't buy it from there.... 

I could wait to get the CE the next day but I want the Gamestop pre-order exclusives anyway.. So might as well play it at midnight.

It was available for in store pick-up, you just had to pre-order it at an actual store instead of online.
