Any ideas as to whether or not prothy is going to be a strict CE add-on or is he going to be featured in the SE? Put simply will you be able to see him if you don't buy the CE

His DLC comes free with the CE but as for those who are getting the SE the DLC will be $10 if you wish to buy it.  As for being featured in the game if you haven't bought the DLC I don't think he will apear in-game, which is a damn shame.

In talking with Michael Gamble over in the "From Ashes Photos" thread, it sounds like the CE will come with a code to download the From Ashes DLC pack from your Registered Game Content page like you normally did for ME2's DLC content.

My God, my mind was not ready for the sight of that female Javik. :blink: This is why I'm not keen on gender-swap fanart. I've seen the same with DA2's Fenris. You take a male character who's mostly stoic, broody, not to mention well-covered, and what is he replaced with? A sexy, curvy, seductively-posed female that bears no resemblance to the male version. 

I'll be joining the rest of you who are leaving the forums early, so as not to be spoiled. Especially because I don't get the game until the 9th. I hung around for too long last year with DA2, and someone slapped spoilers in a load of thread titles. Fortunately they were so outlandish I didn't believe they were actual spoilers. This time, I'll make sure I don't even see them.

Come on, 200 pages, 200 pages! Before the release date!

Though would be nice to have DLC that focused on Javik the Prothy 50k years ago.

Me too.
Since ME1, part of me's always hoped that the Protheans who used the Conduit somehow managed to survive. Maybe in stasis on the Citadel, with the keepers progammed to keep people away from them, when they were altered not to respond to Sovereign's signal. An unlikely theory, maybe, but I think there are plenty of possibilities of other Protheans' survival.

I'm sure you'll have some kind of contact with the protheans one way or another in the main game. I don't believe they would actually say "Hey you wan't to see the only prothean? Buy it for $10". You'll come in contact with one most likely.

Although I like the thought of Javik being the last Prothean, it would so good if there were more. If there was a reunion between him and the other Protheans I think I'd have to had over my heart on a plate. All my tears, all my feels.

This game will be the end of me, no doubt.

My question, sorry if it seems a little off topic, is; has there been any word no how he handles, as it were.
I know he’s a biotic, with maybe a plague type thing, but other than that is there much other word?

And about other Protheans, I don't think we'll see any of his mates, probably to push his sole survivor back story

Also, What the guy below me says, he hits the nail right on the head.

I mean, it's really sad that Javik's the last one and all, but that's the point. It's a sad story. It's drama. When you throw in another survivor, the whole "Last Of His Kind" mystique falls apart.

I, however, would hope for recordings and logs. Like the ones we found on Ilos, but with holograms we can see. And more voices with the same accent XD

Tragedy is boring unless there's a glimmer of hope. More survivors will not bring back the Empire, but it means hope for his people. Not certain hope, and not a lot, but a glimmer.

If that isn't there it just becomes a Von Trier movie.

I f***ing hate Von Trier.

A few, but not all. A species shouldn't have a single accent.

Pffttt..... I refuse to put Javik in generic Alliance armor. Samurai or gtfo.
