Went to Eden Prime after I finished Menae story mission and the Grissom Academy side mission (wasn't sure how long that mission was timed before it expired, so I didn't wanna change it) and I've been pretty much using Javik as my biotic squadie ever since  Damn, he is one awesome character and squadmate (Dark Channel, Pull, and Lift Grenades can really save your ass, so I've found) and his dialogue is both fascinating (how the Protheans also used the Rachni as weapons back in his era), badass (all his ruthless, Renegadish exchanges) and hilarious (anytime he has to interact with Liara and reminisce about how things have changed for the new races compared to his cycle). 

Also have to say, I am so damn glad that they switched out shotguns for assault rifles in his weapon loadout (though oddly enough, I never bother letting him use pistols during missions)... it just gives Javik a lot more versatility as far as his weapon's range and damage (plus having him use the Particle Rifle seems quite appropriate).


EDIT: Also, has anyone found out yet who his voice actor is?

So is Javik just not available to use for Palven mission trying to get the turian support you need?

Also I dont like the gun you get from getting him, I find it lacking

Hahahahaha no I didn't see that. Arcian would be so happy that his Thread title made it into a line in-game. He is so anti-synthetic that his points are starting to sway me somewhat...

He also said quarians were considered beautiful by the protheans, making me even more curious as to what they look like.

No joke. Around half way through the game he said it to me. I'm pretty sure I wasn't hallucinating.

I have a question is there any specific squadmates i should take when I go to get him for some unique dialogue and is there a certain mission I should get him after or should i just get him at any point in the game

When do we pickup Javik? It's not on Mars is it at the beginning of the game? I just want to make sure I am not missing anything.

Believe it or not, I'm actually leaving Javik until my 2nd playthrough, as i see him being disruptive to myself(ignoring other characters) and to NPC's (wtf! is that a prothean?!) Besides, He'll get along better with my ruthless, crush the reapers at all cost Shep. After i get done running around with my Bro and my Vato, who would you guys recommend mainly partnering Javik with? Im not terribly concerned about combo's or defense stripping. Im more wondering who you'd say he has the best interactions with.

Trust me, he ain't lying.  (and I admitted laughed my ass off after he was being so insulting to Tali over the comm. about the quarians creating the geth, only to then turn around and suggest that only Shepard had seen the beauty of a quarian's face, making Tali all flustered while Javik just laughed)


I am really f***ing loving Javik and his dialogue/interactions/banter in this game (and there's not a doubt in my mind that he's cut content, not a single doubt). Also, it is a MUST that you take Javik with you to Thessia.... holy crap, how that changes the entire experience (had started the mission with Liara and Garrus, but turned around and restarted the mission about 2/3 of the way into it just to see how his presence changed things)
