Javik, stop being such a perfect jerk. Seriously.
Arrrrgh, all of this is why I desperately wanted a happy-ish ending. With everything else that has already been destroyed, why did we have to destroy even more to win? Where was the resolution, the feeling that finally, the worst was over? That the fight had been worth it, and that things would start to get better and heal? It wasn't fair.
Prior to release, many referred to the ending as bittersweet. I would have been fine with bittersweet. I like a somewhat sad ending, I find them to be more meaningful than most "happy" endings. I didn't find the ending to be bittersweet. It was just... uncalled for, all 3 of them. I still had a blast playing through it though, it was fantastic right up until the final 20-30 minutes, depending upon how long you stood around trying to choose the "right" ending for you.
Javik really added a lot to my experience, I can't imagine playing this game without him.
I was skeptical of the voice when I first heard it, but it has grown on me.
EDIT: And I just uploaded this. Javik has a couple things to say about the Geth/quarians and synthetics/organics.
