So, we can't take Javik to Palaven, can't we? Like Mars, that part feels kind of scripted. That's the fact, right?

Damnit, I was so dumb and impatient. I could have recruited Garrus and then take him to Eden Prime. But I wanted to recruit Javik so badly, I reluctantly accepted taking Liara with me. Which, by the way, went better than expected. So far, she's less annoying than what I had feared.

And yeah, seems like their interactions are going to be hilarious. Can't wait for more.

PS: How the hell could I not like Javik's voice when I first heard it on the leak? Stupid, stupid me.

Yeah it was extremely cool of BioWare to include that. Hell, I'm super-humbled and super-honored that they actually decided to actually reference the throw-away name I began using 8 months ago when the character was leaked.

Come to think of it, they did something like it for Thane in ME2 - after you recruit him, you get an email from someone who gushes about how cool he is. The name of that person is actually the name of the BSN user who started the Thane fan threads after the character was announced. Jeirt, I believe it was.

So yeah, they DO pay attention to fans, no matter what some people like to claim. And it's the small things like this that makes the difference.

When does that happen? Right after you recruit him?

By the way guys, two quick questions:

1) The fact that the color combination of his suits are the same as Samara had (red/gold and black/gold)... Is it a coincidence, or is there some sort of explanation for it?

2) I absolutely adore the pulse rifle, but do you guys have any advice on how to use it more efficiently? I'm playing as engineer, and I think the rifle is perfect because it recharges while I use my powers, and vice-versa. But somehow, it feels like I'm not using it right. That it's not as killeriffic as it should be.

I kinda forgot about the pulse rifle when I got the mattock...then I forgot the mattock when I got the AMAZING THAT IS THE M99 SABER.

I'm using it because it's kinda like Javik's... "signature weapon". And when I love a character like him I tend to do silly stuff like that, making them wear matching armor and weapons...

Oh. I guess it doesn't matter then. Well, I hope I'm not forced to take her with me anymore after Palaven, which I just finished. No, it's all going to be Javik/Garrus and Javik/Vega goodness for me now. Except Thessia, of course.

On a completely unrelated note: The way Javik closed his eyes and smelled Shepard's lying was incredibly hot.

I can't remember what, exactly, but he was telling you about a big sacrifice his people had to make during the war. The paragon dialogue choice says "That's a bit extreme", while the renegade one says "I agree with you"

I chose the renegade one, but my Shepard's score is almost completely paragon. I suppose that, if you give an answer that matches your score, he won't consider you're lying.

The thing is that, in that particular dialogue choice, I actually agreed with him. I was sort of offended when he didn't believe me XD.

I assume it's different for everyone.

I romanced Ashley..  I think he said:

"You and this human are.... connected?"  Something something "Your pheromones told me." Something something. "Is that what you are fighting for?".

I don't fully remember but he does talk about it.
