Finally! I can post! I got my CE on Friday but couldn't play it as I was still finishing off my ME2 playthrough. Why did I start it so late?!

But I managed to fit a few hours of ME3 in this evening, I'm on the Citadel now and debating if I should visit Kaidan first or have the meeting with the Council. That being said, I'm really enjoying the game already.

After the Citadel can you choose which priority mission to do first or do you have to wait? I want to recruit Garrus first then venture off to fetch Javik unless it can't be done...

Yes you actually can't take Javik to the Garrus Palaven mission. So I guess you are supposed to do that mission before Eden Prime.

Really?  Who did you order with? I was worried mine wouldn't come on the day of release but when I got home from college it was sat there in all its glory.

I knew Javik couldn't go to Palaven, something about him resting, yes? Can you go straight to Palaven after the Citadel?

Id get Javik first since he has to rest, so that may actually be another reason why he cant go to Palaven too. I assume when you get him you cant use him on the next mission you play.

I was able to use him immediately on my first playthough (waited till Ashley was back to go to Eden Prime in hopes of some bonus dialogue. There isn't any).

Yeah, I got the feeling that this first part was sort of scripted. Just like in Mars Vega leaves for the shuttle, so you can take the Vs and Liara, in Palaven Liara leaves so you can take Vega and Garrus. Javik says he needs to rest.

And, while I don't like being railroaded like that, both missions were so amazing (Specially Palaven, oh god it was so awesome) that I didn't mind. Otherwise, we might have not had lines like "Major Alenko has become very capable" and the whole "fish in a barrel" banter between Vega and Garrus (I could barely hear them and I still laughed my ass off)

I been tempted to do a Liara/Javik/Me for most of the game runthrough. But if I have to take someone else, then still use Javik as the third.

That's the party setup I used for pretty much the entire game, although when I was forced to break up the group, I'd alternate between Javik and Liara as my third. The banter that Javik and Liara have during the missions is pretty good. They mesh well together.

Argh, damn it! I had enough trouble deciding between Vega and Garrus to complete my Javik squad, but now I want to take EDI with me too! Despite her ridiculous sexualization (which is very, very ridiculous), she's really cool and I'd love taking her on missions. And she must have interesting interactions with Javik, too, right?

Damn it. Well, there you have it. An excuse for replaying this game. Javik is my excuse for everything.

I loved the dialogue between Javik and Tali when you go on the dreadnought.

Tali: Is it true? You're a real, living Prothean?
Javik: As opposed to a fake dead one?
Tali: (awkward pause) Okaaay
I'm pretty sure I paraphrased some of that.Tali's reaction was priceless.

Yes. I was trying to decide who to bring along on that mission, and settled for Javik just on the basis of that alone. I also liked Tali's drunken conversation with Javik.

I like Liara but I also love Javik's Dark Channel ability and his awesome lines to things. I like his line towards Legion when your on the Normandy, "throw it out the airlock why you have a chance"

I finally recruited Javik! Aifjwfjsajhwee-
After storming through Menae (such a good mission, and finally, my bro Garrus!) and then Sanctum, I just had to go to Eden Prime.
Although I wanted the mission to have more to it, I really enjoyed it and the flashbacks were great. All dem Protheans~ Plus, Javik is such a babe badass.

I was right into the game from the word go but I think having Javik in my squad has me loving it all the more.

When Tali is drunk talking to Javik is too funny.  I talked to Tali first then realized I forgot to check on him.  Went to talk to him and he was talking to drunk Tali. 

I was laughing so hard.  And at that point in the game, I really needed it.  I was down because of Thessia and Liara's reaction to it.  Javik's comments during Thessia were perfect.  Liara didn't want to believe it and I don't blame her either.

Hello everyone, first time here:wizard: I am a serious lovemeGarrus fangirl, but Javik is becoming my other star Goddammit, love his sarcasm, dry humor (or lack of humor that is funny), his creepy laugh, his accent and his voice. And he has some seriously awesome teeth. And of course the lip curl? Man, gimme some love Javik

I don't understand BioWare sometimes... Many of FemSheps are ..."OUTRAGE!!"... angry because of the lack of LI in ME3. Well, I am pretty happy since I am a Garrus fangirl and he's here with all the awesome date, hugs and kisses. So...
Javik is this brooding, depressing character who mostly acts superior to others, but he is dripping awesomeness. Why BioWare didn't make him LI? We have turian, drell, so why not Prothy the Prothean? (great name btw ) I get it: all of that seriousness, vengeance, war all around, his struggles during his cycle blablabla. Still a little fun would do good for him I would love to see him drunk hah

And damn his voice is sexy. .. Especially when he is arguing with Liara. I am such a sucker for aliens with "purring" voices ...damn you Garrus and Javik...

Edit: And that picture above my comment? Damn. He IS sexy... and that lip curl *sigh*
