i am sorry, i didn't mean you any discomfort. i used to be the same way but i got use to the fact that we all have shepards that look different from our own. so i focus on the theme of it than the actual shepard.

@Nissun: true, i do think some place themselves into their own shepard. i'm one who has not, my shepard looks nothing like me. but then again... who would know that unless i showed a pic of me. but i completely understand where you are coming from.

One of the things I like most about Javik is that he's an alien.

I'm serious! In way too many sci-fi works, even Mass Effect, I'm left with the impression that the "aliens" are just humans who look different. Not Javik. He has such a different perspective and outlook. Talking to him is exciting.

I loved this character....I kid of wish that him and Liara had hooked up--you know, if you didn't romance him. I like the idea of characters hooking up...like fenris and isabella in DA2 or Garrus and Tali. Liara and Javik had chemistry.

Seriously, now, every time Liara/Javik is mentioned I block it from my mind, just like everything Liara related. During the "memory box" scene I was pressing X like crazy. Except when the dialogue wheel came up, then I stopped because I didn't want to be excessively nice to her by accident. But yeah I skipped the whole thing so much.

On the other hand, I'm thinking of replaying Javik's citadel scene a second time. If I saved right before it, which I think I did...

It was so touching in the end, when he is about to say "...primitives" but says "...the young" instead. So damn adorable and... So right.

My boyfriend and I have been joking since day 1 that an unromanced Liara and Virmire survivor would hook up. So if Garrus and Tali are a thing, and Shepard has a different ME2 love interest, and EDI has Joker....
